Who we are
This website is run by Vision Plumbing Limited, a plumbing business owned and run by Norbert and based near Sevenoaks, Kent. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Vision Plumbing Limited is the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you type into the quick quote form: your name, email address, phone number, postcode (optional) and your message.
- Partly completed forms: if you type an email address or phone number into the form and leave without sending it, what you had typed is saved so we can follow up on an enquiry you may have meant to send.
- Technical details sent with a form: the page you were on, the referring website, any campaign tags in the link, your IP address, approximate country and browser type. These help us stop spam and understand how people find the site.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out the work you ask about, and keep a record of the job. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you go ahead with work, taking steps to enter into a contract with you. Technical details are used under our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam and abuse.
Spam protection
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than an automated program is sending it. Turnstile processes limited information about your browser and connection for that purpose only. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Who can see it
Enquiries are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare and sent by email to Vision Plumbing and the company that manages this website on its behalf. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Where work goes ahead, job records are kept for as long as needed for the warranty, our accounts and any legal requirement.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Contact us using the details below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
