Why one plumber is the point
When you ring Vision Plumbing you get Norbert. He is the one who asks what is happening, the one who comes out, and the one who does the work. Nobody writes your problem on a job sheet for someone else to misread, and you never explain the same leak twice.
That matters most on the jobs that are hard to diagnose. A damp patch that could be three different pipes, a drain that blocks every few months, a hot water cylinder that trips its safety valve: the person who quotes needs to be the person who understands the fix, because the quote is only as good as the diagnosis behind it.
Kit most one-man firms do not own
Norbert carries his own CCTV drain camera and high-pressure jetting equipment, so a drain can be surveyed and cleared on one visit instead of waiting for a specialist. For leaks he uses thermal imaging and acoustic tracing to find the source before anybody lifts a floor or opens a wall.
On drains he does both dig and no-dig repairs. Where a pipe has collapsed it has to be excavated; where it is cracked or has a displaced joint, patch lining or relining can often fix it from inside without touching the garden. Doing both means the recommendation is not limited by what he can offer.
What he does not do
Vision Plumbing is plumbing, drainage and hot water. Norbert does not work on boilers or gas appliances; those need a registered gas engineer. He repairs and replaces baths, showers and taps, but he does not fit out whole bathrooms or do tiling. He would rather tell you that on the phone than take a job he is not the right person for.
